Designing and creating FX for real-time playback in Unreal Engine 5 for live broadcasts. Creating procedural tools in Unreal and Houdini for artists and on-air operators. Creating and adapting game effects for Fortnite's Cinematics team inside of Unreal Engine 5, primarily using Niagara and Houdini.
Creating and and refining simulations inside of Houdini; modeling and texturing assets in Houdini, Maya, and Substance; Rendering in Arnold and Redshift; Compositing 3D and 2D content inside of Nuke; rigging inside of Maya and Houdini. Additionally, I worked to establish the studio's Unreal pipeline by developing assets and characters to work in real-time, and testing renders in UE5. Notable works during my time at The-Artery include CG credits on Paramount's horror film "Smile," James Gray's "Armageddon Time," and Ari Aster's "BEAU IS AFRAID;" as well as various ads.
